Waking Windows Winooski Releases Final Lineup

The final lineup was just released for the 7th Annual Waking Windows Music Festival in Winooski, VT. It runs from May 3rd - 5th. This lineup features one of the biggest indie lineups in New England, if not THE biggest. This festival is heavily infused with a homegrown Vermont vibe. The big name out of town headliners are Real Estate, Dan Deacon, !!! (Chk Chk Chk) and Pond.
Originally this was a 12 day long festival when it started in 2011. The dates directly competed with the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival and later the event moved up to the beginning of May, where it is now held for just three days Friday through Sunday.
If you have been involved in the New England indie music scene in any way, you are sure to find a band that you like or a band on your radar that you have been wanting to see.
BANDS ON MY RADAR:

The DuPont Brothers - Folk duo nominated as New England Music Awards 2017 Roots Act of the Year. These brothers are experienced at playing faraway bigtime festivals such as SXSW. Waking Windows should be a nice homecoming for this duo to perform in front of family and friends.

The Pilgrims - Garage alternative and nominated New England Music Awards 2017 Best in State - Vermont. With songs such as their latest Fuckuitude and KimPossible, you will feeling like you are in 1990 Seattle.
