New Amy Lee Video, Evanescence Coming Back to Boston?

It sure would be great to see the Grammy Award winning band Evanescence include a New England stop on their next tour, to promote the album that they are about to start working on. Their last performance in New England was also the only music festival the band has ever played in the region. It was a part of the 75th Anniversary of Tanglewood, where Evanescence performed in Lenox, MA in 2012. They had made three prior stops to the former Avalon Ballroom in Boston from 2003-2006, but have only made one appearance to the city since then. Additionally they have played in Connecticut a handful of times between 2003-2012.

I could just imagine seeing Evanescence appear at Boston Calling next year. With their one of a kind gothic style, most of the festivals that they perform in tend to be in Europe. Where this brand of music has an enormous following. This latest "Speak to Me" solo video that Amy Lee just put out is reminiscent of that style. My first thought when I saw the little boy in German style clothing was of Hansel and Gretel. I look forward to more of this after the next Evanescence album is completed.
